CANADA'S 150th BIRTHDAY MURAL |

Students can work together to create a paper mural that celebrates Canada's 150th birthday. | |||||
This cooperative exercise aligns with the Ontario Visual Arts Curriculum | |||||
and is designed for classes of up to 150 students. | |||||
1. | Click here to print a set of 150 grid squares. | ||||
2. | Each student should decorate 1 grid square with colourful designs and patterns using crayons, markers and/or pencil crayons. | ||||
3. | Students should use warm colours (red, orange, magenta, etc.) on the grey spaces. Students should use light colours on the white spaces. Students should not colour over the black areas. | ||||
4. | Students should trim their grid square. | ||||
5. | Assemble the squares together, as shown. The finished size will be 72 x 48". | ||||
